∎ NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post of Logistics & Inventory Advisor for employment with our prospective clients working in oil and gas.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage end to end logistics function such as import, export, re-export, reporting for both base business, small projects and wells functioning by liaising with suppliers, customers, 3rd party logistics, international freight forwarders, regulatory authorities (Petro Bangla, ministry, CCI&E, NBR/Customs, department of explosive, department of environment) and all other relevant stakeholders.
∎ Set strategies and planning for segregating and consolidating the materials located at various international hubs of freight forwarders and lead the importation from various countries across the globe by scheduling the mode of transport, route selection, appropriate container selection (FCL/LCL/BB/chartered/part chartered) etc. with the support of advance expediting tools, process, coordination, and business partner engagement.
∎ Demonstrate in-depth knowledge in INCOTERMS, transport modelling, route optimization, import/export policy, SRO, Customs Act, foreign exchange regulation, customs duties, and several automation tools like JDE, ARIBA, Cloud based ERP system (SMART by GEP), Power BI, JDE Expediting, e-SAR, ERP of FF (OGS) that ensure the safe and reliable end to end (supplier to end user) logistics operation.
∎ Provide consultation to project and base business teams in planning project scope, scheduling, costing/budgeting by applying holistic approach to meet the organizational objectives.
∎ Facilitate several meetings with business leaders and with other stakeholders to build collaboration among the cross functional teams to track the progress of critical shipments and to find the right decision matrix for getting the desired outcome with the adherence of organizational objectives.
∎ Responsible for managing the performance suppliers such as international freight forwarder and C&F agents. Develops functional benchmarking of suppliers, review contractor’s performance based on bilaterally agreed KPI, catalog utilization and invoice payment. Conduct supplier qualification meetings (SQM) with all service providers periodically, analyze the Gap and set mitigation plan to eliminate all gaps.
∎ Prepare and review the bid documents (scope of work, technical analysis and compensation etc.) for sourcing 3PL logistics and freight forwarding service.
∎ Lead to rationalize and prioritize upfront opportunities in logistics cycle time through broad engagement of relevant stakeholders and by utilizing the logistics dashboard.
∎ Proactively identifies problems and opportunities before they arise due to the changes in economy, fiscal policy, rules of regulatory authority, organizational goal, international maritime / aviation law and import/export policy across the globe. Brings expertise from wide range of internal and external sources to resolve all the disputes related to material discrepancy, vessel/flight schedule, discrepancy in shipping documents, import permit, NOC for DG goods, SRO, import duties, customs clearance etc.
∎ Influences understanding and use of functional processes throughout the organization by conducting training/awareness session for all relevant stakeholders on newly adopted or existing supply chain process, newly deployed ERP, new government SRO/rules/policy, safety standard and any other sustainability issues.
∎ Manage open PO independently by monitoring and pursuing all approved supplier base of operational procurement periodically to ensure on time delivery.
∎ Support supervisor to assess existing process, procedure and guideline of logistics function and to make necessary modification according to the business need.
∎ Inventory Function:
∎ Supervise inventory management operation for stock, non-stock and surplus materials by ensuring sustainability in supply chain operation.
∎ Review inventory level and customer demand based on historical data analysis and periodic coordination to anticipate future demand, supply and logistics requirement.
∎ Source inventory materials to replenish stock materials at optimum level based on forecasting, import lead time and market analysis by ensuring cost effectivity and space efficiency.
∎ Demonstrate in-dept knowledge in inventory analysis, capital spare provisioning, cycle count, investment recovery, preservation, ROP-ROQ, electronic stock authorization request (e-SAR), item master cleanup, technical query management, stock ordering, stock out RCA, Depreciable Standby Equipment (DSE), ERP (JDE Enterprise, SMART, ARIBA), stock location standardization, materials requirement planning (MRP), budgeting, etc. for running efficient material management operation.
∎ Provide consultation to set strategies for reducing direct and indirect cost, for improving materials management process and for optimizing inventory level matching with the storage capacity with the assistance of relevant advance tools with the adherence of sustainability.
∎ Identify surplus materials by analyzing inventory based on criticality, mobility, annual consumption pattern and holding cost to optimize storage capacity and process safety by disposing the surplus materials periodically.
∎ Motivate material management team and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to set one team approach for ensuring accountable and integrated day to day warehouse operation.
∎ Provide training to warehouse team in the value of adhering to company policies, procedures, and standards like WSWP, IRIS, ISPM and strengthening their dedication to following these guidelines.
∎ Managing all administrative job including verification of monthly time sheet & OT hours of WH crews, bills, and work ticket to run the warehouse and monitoring day to day materials movement and preservation.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Communication, adaptability power in stressful situation to handle simultaneous operation, supervision and leadership for guiding front line worker.
∎ Knowledge on ERP system, Computing skill specially MS Office and Good interpersonal skill etc.

Salary:
∎ Negotiable
∎ Dominant work schedule will be 5 days on/ 2 days off basis. Work Schedule may vary as per Company`s requirement. Yearly two annual allowance/bonus. Cell phone allowance. Group life Insurance coverage. Hospitalization Insurance coverage.
