Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
∎ Minimum Graduate Certificate in Business Studies Preferably Maters with training on procurement related tasks. 2 years professional experience in logistics, out of that 1-year experience in procurement related tasks is preferred.
∎ Skills Required: Purchase

∎ At least 2 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Objective 1 : Prepare the procurement process. The assistant is responsible for:
∎ Support supply manager/purchaser in gathering all documentation required in relation to the procurement requests/quotations received
∎ Support supply manager/purchaser in making sure the information on the documentation is clear and that he understands it
∎ Under the supervision of supply manager, updates the Procurement Follow up (PFU), if required
∎ Support supply manager/purchasers for collecting and ensuring the necessary information and documentation in order to prepare the purchase (PR / Quotation Request, samples, designs, etc…)
∎ Objective 2 : Closes the procurement process. The assistant is responsible for:
∎ Organizing the reception of the goods/works/services ordered
∎ Checking the supplier invoices
∎ Filing and archiving the documentation related to the procurement as per Action Against Hunger procedures
∎ Organizes the reception of the purchase between the supplier and requester
∎ Ensures transfer of responsibility with the internal consignee (requester/stock)
∎ Collects, verifies and validates the invoices related to the procurement he/she has done
∎ Archives and saves all documentation related to the procurement, as defined by Action Against Hunger
∎ Objective 3: Proactively support Action Against Hunger’s commitments to gender quality, child protection and disability sensitivity:
∎ Understand the basics tenants of Action Against Hunger’s Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies.
∎ Objective 4:
∎ Additional Tasks delegated by the line Manager.
∎ Provide support as and when requested by the Logistics Manager, during recruitment gaps.
∎ Other tasks as delegated by Sr. Logistics manager.
∎ Objective 5: Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity:
∎ Proactively support ACFs commitments to gender equality, child protection and disability sensitivity
∎ Understand the basics tenants of ACFs Gender Minimum Standards & Child Protection Policies

Additional Requirements:
∎ Computer knowledge (Word and Excel) – Negotiating skills – Good organizing capacity.
∎ General: Vehicle, computer, telephone, Supply Chain, Printer, Telephone
∎ Special: Programme budgets; Action Against Hunger Kit Log

Salary: Tk. 29160 (Monthly)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 1 month Gross salary every year;
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary;
∎ Performance Bonus: from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year depending on performance;
∎ End of Contract Benefits: up to 2 months' Gross salary;
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year);
∎ 18 days of paid annual leaves per year.
∎ 10 days of paid casual leaves per year.
∎ 14 days of paid sick leaves per year.
∎ Free and unlimited access to the certifying e-learning platform Cross knowledge ©.
∎ Technical training at HQ or regional level (during first year of contract). - This for HoD and senior Managers.
∎ Intermission Workshop at France once a year. This for HoD only
∎ Participation to external training costs upon eligibility of the request.
