Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Planning and implementation of the project interventions in the assigned working area in a qualitative and timely manner.
∎ Prepare monthly & quarterly activity plan.

∎ Supervise project activity and provide technical support to field facilitators’.
∎ She/he is responsible for implementing activities at the field level as per project design.
∎ Working for capacity building of target group to mobilization, knowledge development and technical training (YEE) information dissemination.·
∎ Identify climate-adaptive livelihoods options, train the selected beneficiaries and provide support for demonstration.
∎ Collecting quality data from different stakeholders and should be familiar with child rights and protection.
∎ Conduct children survey and maintain profile and children’s home visit for collecting information and counseling.
∎ Organize and facilitate YEE related meeting/training with target groups/forums.
∎ Facilitate various training/orientation/workshop at Union Parishad, community and others stakeholder.
∎ Organize & conduct different right base related national or international day celebration.
∎ Provide technical support to Field Facilitator-SP·
∎ Ensuring implementation of project activities through effective community mobilization.
∎ Comply with safeguarding policy for children and young people.
∎ Consider gender equality in organizing every program or activity in the community.
∎ Collect gender violence, abuse and discrimination news and inform appropriate person with secrecy.

∎ The Association of Voluntary Actions for Society (AVAS), working in Bangladesh since 1998 with the vision of building an "environment-friendly, gender-sensitive, fair, and self-reliant pluralistic society," is set to launch a new initiative in partnership with Plan International Bangladesh. The project, titled "DURBAR: Girls-Led Climate Solutions," will commence in August 2025 in Charfession Upazila under Bhola District.
∎ "DURBAR: Girls-Led Climate Solutions" project, implemented by the Association of Voluntary Actions for Society (AVAS), aims to empower adolescent girls and youth in Char Manika Union, Bhola, one of Bangladesh’s most climate-vulnerable coastal areas. Through integrated interventions in climate change education, health, sexual and reproductive rights and green economic opportunities, the project will build community resilience and promote youth leadership. Special focus is given to ensuring the participation of girls, marginalized groups and persons with disabilities. The initiative leverages AVAS’s strong local presence, partnerships with government and community stakeholders and experience in gender-transformative programming.
∎ KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
