Educational Qualification: LL.B (Hon’s), LL.M from a reputed university.
Bangladesh Bar Council Enrollment as Advocate will be more preferred.
The employee will be assigned under a third-party payroll service.
Responsibilities & Context:
A Reputed Private Commercial Bank is looking for dynamic and self-driven candidate with strong quantitative aptitude and to enhance consumer business.
To attend everywhere in Bangladesh including Dhaka/ Narayanganj/ Gazipur Cumilla, Mymensingh Judge Court on daily basis towards ensuring proper steps are taken on the date fixed for the cases/suits of the Bank for early disposal of the cases/suits.
Maintain liaison with the Panel Lawyers as well as Branch/Division Officials towards ensuring the proper steps taken for and on behalf of the Bank.
Assist the Branch/Division Official as well as Panel Lawyer towards taking proper steps in the cases/suit of the Bank.
Filing case/suits for and on behalf of the Bank as Plaintiff/ Complainant/ Petitioner.
To handover the file to the concerned conducting law firm and ensure the filing of the suits/cases as required, after receiving request from our SAMD.
To maintain updated status of all file/suits/cases statement duly which will be received from our SAMD.
Take all necessary steps for initiating Legal action against the defaulter Borrowers of the Bank [assigned from time to time] to recover Bank`s outstanding dues.
Attend the meeting held at Legal Division, Head Office, Dhaka on daily basis regarding the steps taken and to be taken on the date and following date respectively as to the pending cases/suits of the Bank.
Upon collection of the copy of the warrant from the concerned court of law, thereby to attend the Police Station along with the officials of SAMD and to pursue for executing warrant of Arrest.
Report the update position of the cases/suits of the Bank to the Competent Authority on daily basis.
Report the update position of the cases/suits to the Head of Litigation and Head of Legal Division, Head office on daily basis.
To perform other duties as and when assigned by the Head of Litigation/Unit Manager, Head of Legal Division & the Management of the Bank.
To perform any other legal activities assigned by management.
