Responsibilities & Context:
Run eCommerce at scale: EC2 Auto Scaling, RDS/Aurora, ElastiCache, OpenSearch, S3/EFS; tune Varnish, NGINX, PHP-FPM for performance.
Design resilient networks & edge: VPCs, subnets, Route 53, CloudFront; implement multi-AZ, blue/green, and canary deployments.
Build CI/CD pipelines with CodePipeline/CodeBuild/CodeDeploy or GitHub Actions for zero-downtime deploys.
Enforce security: IAM least-privilege, WAF/Shield, GuardDuty/Security Hub; manage backups, DR, and PCI-conscious architectures.
Implement observability: CloudWatch, X-Ray, runbooks, SLOs/error budgets, blameless postmortems.
Build & manage AWS data platform: S3/Lake Formation, Glue/Athena ETL, Redshift, DMS-based CDC, dashboards with access controls.
Optimize costs and performance: rightsizing, autoscaling, RI/Savings Plans, Well-Architected reviews.
