Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Medical technology/Pathology/Pharmacy or equivalent from any recognized university with minimum second class/division or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 1 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist in performing laboratory tests by maintaining standard procedures.
∎ Prepare samples/specimens, classify and accurately label for testing.
∎ Perform daily quality control checks.
∎ Maintain documentation of all lab activities.
∎ Ensure cleanliness and sterilization of lab equipment and work area.
∎ Undertake basic administrative tasks such as filing, maintaining equipment records, receiving and transferring of products from logistics and store department to laboratory.
∎ Ensure all safety guidelines are strictly followed when using lab equipment and performing tests.
∎ Carefully record all data and outcomes from tests in prescribed format with accuracy.
∎ Assist in inventory management and arrangement.
∎ Oversee product unpacking, counting supplies and setting up lab equipment and instruments.
∎ Assist in media preparation and autoclaving sample bottles and equipment.
∎ Frequent field visit at assigned working area.
∎ Regularly update the supervisor on work progress.
∎ Ensure the safety of lab team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
