Responsibilities & Context:
Market Research & Lead Generation
- Identify potential foreign buyers through online platforms.
- Research market trends, price levels, and buyer behavior by region (e.g., Europe, USA, Japan).
- Attend international buyer-seller meetings to generate leads.
Buyer Communication & Relationship Management
- Initiate and maintain professional communication with foreign buyers via email, phone, or WhatsApp.
- Understand buyer needs, technical requirements, and compliance standards.
- Build strong, long-term relationships through regular updates and follow-ups.
Product Presentation & Sampling
- Send company profiles, product catalogs, and customized quotations to interested buyers.
- Arrange development samples, pricing samples, and pre-production samples as per buyer request.
- Coordinate with design and production teams to meet buyer specifications.
Negotiation & Order Finalization
- Negotiate price, delivery terms (FOB/CIF), payment terms (L/C, TT), and MOQ.
- Finalize and confirm orders, tech packs, and time-action calendars.
- Coordination with Production & Merchandising Teams
- Ensure production planning aligns with buyer’s delivery requirements.
- Communicate buyer comments to the relevant departments (sample approval, size sets, fabric issues, etc.).
Quality Assurance & Shipment
- Keep buyers updated with production progress, quality status, and shipping schedules.
- Ensure compliance with buyer’s quality standards and social audit requirements.
- Coordinate inspection (by buyer or third-party QC) and final shipment arrangements.
Documentation & Compliance
- Ensure accurate export documentation: Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, Bill of Lading, etc.
- Stay updated with international trade laws, HS codes, and garment labeling regulations.
Reporting & Forecasting
- Prepare periodic reports on buyer response, order value, shipment timelines, etc.
- Forecast potential orders and support strategic planning for factory capacity.
