Additional Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or a related discipline.
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in knit garment sampling, with at least 8 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of knit fabrics, garment construction, and fit standards.
Proven ability to manage multiple styles and tight deadlines.
Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in MS Office and sampling documentation systems.
Responsibilities & Context:
Lead and manage the end-to-end knit garment sampling process .
Coordinate closely with Merchandising, Design, Pattern, Cutting, Sewing, and Quality teams to ensure sample accuracy.
Ensure samples meet buyer specifications, measurements, construction, and quality standards.
Develop and monitor sampling timelines to meet buyer deadlines without delay.
Identify and resolve sampling issues related to fabric, trims, fit, or workmanship.
Maintain proper documentation of sample developments, revisions, and approvals.
Guide and train sampling team members to improve efficiency and skill development.
Ensure cost-effective sampling while maintaining required quality standards.
Communicate effectively with merchandising teams regarding sample status and approvals.
Implement continuous improvement in sampling processes and workflow.
