Position Purpose

The Assistant Manager supports the production/operations department in planning, supervising, and optimizing spinning processes to ensure efficient, cost-effective production while maintaining quality and compliance with company and buyer standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, scheduling, and monitoring production activities.

• Supervise day-to-day operations in spinning, quality control, and maintenance.

• Ensure adherence to production targets, efficiency, and quality standards.

• Support implementation of process improvements and cost optimization initiatives.

• Monitor raw material usage and finished goods output.

• Coordinate with QA/QC, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.

• Prepare production reports and performance analysis for management.

• Assist in training and developing junior staff.

Working Relationship

Internal: Production, QC, Maintenance, Lab/R&D, Store, Management

External: Buyers, suppliers, auditors

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Diploma / B.Sc in Textile Engineering (Spinning/Yarn specialization preferred)

• Knowledge of spinning processes, machinery, and yarn quality standards

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills

• Experience in production planning and coordination

• Proficiency in reporting, team management, and process improvement
