Diploma / Certification in Hotel Management
Minimum 10 years of experience in canteen supervision, facilities management, administration, or similar roles in a renowned hotel, facilities management company, factory, or industrial environment.
To monitor and ensure the smooth operation of factory canteen services through effective supervision of the assigned food supplier, ensuring hygiene, food quality, adequate quantity, cleanliness, and full compliance with management requirements. Additionally, to oversee mini dormitories for staff by ensuring discipline, cleanliness, safety, and proper maintenance of facilities.
A. Canteen Monitoring & Supervision
Monitor daily food distribution (tiffin and lunch) for approximately 5,000 employees.
Ensure sufficient food quantity with zero shortage during serving hours.
Regularly check food quality, taste, freshness, and serving temperature.
Ensure strict hygiene standards in food preparation, storage, serving areas, utensils, and dining facilities.
Supervise cleanliness of kitchen, dining hall, hand-wash areas, and waste disposal systems.
Ensure the food supplier strictly follows management-approved menu, portion size, and serving schedule.
Coordinate with the food supplier to immediately resolve complaints or service issues.
Maintain daily canteen inspection, hygiene, and monitoring records.
Monitor pest control measures, water quality, and overall sanitation practices.
Report supplier non-compliance or repeated issues to management with corrective action recommendations.
B. Hygiene, Safety & Compliance
Ensure full compliance with factory hygiene standards, food safety practices, and local regulatory requirements.
Monitor implementation of pest control, sanitation, and safe food-handling procedures.
Support and coordinate internal, buyer, and compliance audits related to canteen and accommodation facilities.
C. Mini Dormitory Supervision
Supervise cleanliness, discipline, safety, and living conditions of staff mini dormitories.
Ensure proper use, care, and maintenance of dormitory facilities and common areas.
Coordinate minor repair and maintenance issues with Admin / Maintenance departments.
Maintain accurate occupancy records and report any misuse, safety concern, or disciplinary issue.
D. Coordination & Reporting
Act as the primary liaison between management and the food supplier.
Prepare and submit regular reports on canteen operations, complaints, audit findings, and corrective actions.
Immediately inform management of any critical issues related to food safety, hygiene, employee health, or accommodation.
Authority
Instruct food supplier staff on immediate corrective actions related to hygiene, cleanliness, and service quality.
Recommend corrective or disciplinary action against supplier for repeated non-compliance.
