Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering
∎ Certification (Preferred):
∎ CEH
∎ ISO 27001
∎ CompTIA Security+
∎ Certified Penetration Tester
Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 4 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyzing and configuring corporate systems to improve its security posture
∎ Analyzing data loss prevention measures
∎ Looking for system vulnerabilities and ways to fix them
∎ Monitoring data behavior for abnormal activities
∎ Verifying security, availability, and confidentiality of corporate data
∎ Assess, monitor, and assist with recommended improvements to security procedures for user access creation, modification, and removal.
∎ Assist with approval, tracking and reporting any security exceptions as the need arises.
∎ Prepare status reports on security matters to analyze security risk and response of security controls.
∎ Work in application development or acquisition projects to assess security requirements and controls to ensure that security controls are implemented as planned.
∎ Participate in the assessment of potential threats and risks to systems and management of those risks.
∎ Participate in the design, development, and delivery of security training programs and individual classes.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in Bank, FinTech, Financial, Large corporate, Enterprise is preferred.
∎ Knowledge of technological trends and developments in technology relating to security and risk management.
∎ Strong understanding of information security controls, risks and threats
∎ Experience with network protocols including switches, routers and routing technologies.
∎ Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Microsoft Windows and Linux Server environments, Virtual Servers, Kubernetes, Docker and other enterprise-wide applications.
∎ Strong knowledge of enterprise security technologies, e.g., Virtual Private Network (VPN), Encryption, Firewalls, Intrusion Detection/Prevention, and Anti-Virus.
∎ Knowledge of information security standards, data privacy laws, Bangladesh Bank’s etc.
∎ In-depth knowledge on operations of at least one enterprise SIEM, FIM platform
∎ Familiarity with security standards organizations and industry leaders in security excellence.
∎ Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
∎ Ability to make technical decisions with limited resources and precedence.
∎ Strong document development, oral, interpersonal, and presentational skills.
∎ Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
∎ Ability to use discretion and handle sensitive/confidential information.
