Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Civil Engineer to join our construction team. The candidate will assist senior engineers and project managers in site supervision, quality control, project coordination, quantity checking, and daily construction activities. This position is suitable for fresh or early-career civil engineers who want to build strong practical experience in construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior engineers in supervising daily construction activities at the project site.

• Monitor construction work to ensure it is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.

• Check materials, workmanship, and construction quality on site.

• Assist in reinforcement checking, formwork inspection, concrete work, finishing work, and other civil construction activities.

• Prepare daily work progress reports and submit updates to the project team.

• Support quantity measurement, material requisition, and basic estimation work.

• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, site supervisors, and workers.

• Maintain project documentation, drawings, work records, and inspection reports.

• Ensure site safety rules and construction procedures are properly followed.

• Report site issues, delays, technical problems, or quality concerns to senior engineers.

• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution activities when required.

Educational Qualification:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed university.

• Graduates from reputed private universities such as North South University (NSU), American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), United International University (UIU), and Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) will be given preference.

• Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant construction site experience are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills:

• Basic knowledge of construction drawings, BOQ, estimation, and site supervision.

• Good understanding of RCC, steel structure, finishing, and general civil construction work.

• Ability to read architectural and structural drawings.

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Word.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

• Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work under pressure at project sites.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of site measurement and quantity calculation.

• Basic understanding of project safety and quality control.

• Experience in factory building, commercial building, or industrial construction projects will be an advantage.

• Good problem-solving attitude and eagerness to learn from senior engineers.
