Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or MEP Engineering from a recognized university. Professional engineering certification (e.g., IEB membership) preferred.
Experience: Minimum 12–15+ years of hands-on experience in MEP installation, testing & commissioning (T&C), and facility maintenance management.
Must have at least 5+ years of direct experience managing MEP maintenance in large-scale mission-critical infrastructure (Airports, Metro Rail, Major Commercial Complexes, or High-Tech Industrial Facilities).
Deep understanding of NFPA, BNBC, ICAO, BS, and IEC codes.
Familiarity with airport-specific systems, high-redundancy power distribution, and central plant automation.
Skills: Excellent contractual communication, emergency management, team leadership, and proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and Maintenance Management Software (CMMS/CAFM).
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Manager – MEP Maintenance to oversee non-stop, mission-critical Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), and allied Low Voltage systems within international airport infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for contract execution, preventive and corrective maintenance management, vendor oversight, testing & commissioning, and compliance with civil aviation regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maintenance Strategy & Site Operations
• Oversee comprehensive Preventive Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) schedules for all airport MEP assets to ensure zero-downtime operational capability.
• Lead operational management across key MEP disciplines:
• Electrical & Power: Substation equipment, High/Low Voltage switchgears, Transformers, UPS systems, Generators, and Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) support.
• HVAC & Chillers: Central chilled water plants, AHUs, FCUs, precision cooling, and specialized terminal ventilation systems.
• Fire & Life Safety: Fire pumps, sprinkler systems, addressable fire alarm networks, and clean-agent suppression systems (NFPA compliance).
• Plumbing & Sanitary: Water treatment plants (WTP), sewage treatment plants (STP), drainage, and high-volume sanitary networks.
• BMS & Controls: Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA interfaces, and monitoring for energy/system integration.
• Manage emergency response plans for critical operational failures, power outages, or system trippings.
2. Contract & Subcontractor Management
• Supervise specialized MEP maintenance vendors, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and subcontractors.
• Enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and defect liability compliance across all sub-contracts.
• Review work permits, Method Statements, Risk Assessments (RAMS), and site safety compliance.
3. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Coordination
• Lead a multi-disciplinary team of MEP engineers, supervisors, and specialized technicians.
• Liaise directly with Civil Aviation Authorities (CAAB), airport operational control centers, main contractors, and client representatives.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational KPI reports, energy management audits, and asset health dashboards.
