Education:
∎ Minimum bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field from any reputed university.

Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 28 years
∎ 2+ years of experience in textile quality assurance, auditing, or similar roles.
∎ Strong knowledge of textile production processes and quality control standards.
∎ Familiarity with international textile standards (ISO, AATCC, ASTM, etc.).
∎ Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
∎ Good communication and report-writing skills.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
∎ Ability in MS Office and QA software tools is a plus.
∎ Experience in Textile Quality Assurance, multi-plant or group-level QA operations.
∎ You would prefer to have experience handling H&M, Sainsbury, Zara, Bershka, Mango, Primark, and New Look accounts.
∎ Training in Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality methodologies. Knowledge of sustainability and compliance standards in the textile industry.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure compliance with buyer quality standards and company SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
∎ Inspect and verify incoming fabric quality before delivery.
∎ Collaborate with QAD and production teams to ensure only approved fabrics are delivered.
∎ Monitor and evaluate fabric quality at various stages of production (greige, dyed, finished etc.).
∎ Identify defects (e.g., holes, barre, dye streaks, GSM variation etc.) during knitting, dyeing, and finishing processes.
∎ Supervise lab dips, shade matching, shrinkage, colorfastness, and other fabric property tests.
∎ Coordinate with lab technicians and dyeing department for corrective action if test results fail.
∎ Record and analyze quality issues and defect trends.
∎ Conduct root cause analysis and suggest preventive and corrective measures.
∎ Perform final inspections before delivery (4-point).
∎ Prepare and approve fabric quality reports and certifications for buyers.
∎ Maintain inspection reports, test results, and audit logs.
∎ Ensure traceability and documentation of quality control checkpoints.
∎ Address non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure timely resolution.
∎ Implement QA tools like 5S, Kaizen, SPC (Statistical Process Control) in quality operations.
∎ Support innovation in QA practices to reduce fabric rejection and rework costs.
