Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Provide first-line technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
∎ Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, applications, and peripherals.
∎ Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory and other IT systems.
∎ Document IT support issues and resolutions in the ticketing system.
∎ Assist with software updates, patch management, and system upgrades.
∎ Conduct user training sessions and create documentation for common IT issues.
∎ Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi access points.
∎ Ensure network security through firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures.
∎ Perform network performance analysis and optimization.
∎ Assist in managing cloud-based infrastructure and services.
∎ Implement and enforce IT policies and best practices for network security and data protection.
∎ Perform routine system monitoring, backups, and disaster recovery procedures.
∎ Ensure compliance with IT security policies and standards.
∎ Respond to cybersecurity threats and work to mitigate vulnerabilities.
∎ Conduct periodic IT audits to assess system performance and security.
∎ System administration support for Outlook, Gmail, or any email domain.
∎ Work closely with other IT team members to implement new technologies and system improvements.
∎ Assist in IT infrastructure projects, including system migrations, upgrades, and new implementations.
∎ Collaborate with vendors and service providers for hardware and software procurement.
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
∎ 3+ years of experience in IT support, network administration, or a similar role.
∎ Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
∎ Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLAN, etc.).
∎ Hands-on experience with routers, firewalls, and switches (Cisco, Fortinet, Ubiquiti, etc.).
∎ Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and cloud computing platforms.
∎ Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices.
∎ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
∎ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
∎ Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
∎ Office Shift 6 PM to 3 AM (Night Shift)
