Responsibilities & Context:

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work as a support personal for all hardware related issues.

  • Work on different assignment simultaneously and need to be aware of completing deadlines and priorities

  • Responsible for configuration setting, and testing computer hardware, including computer systems, motherboards, hard drive/SSD, RAM, BIOS, Keyboards, printers, operating system and installation of other parts.

  • Detect Hardware flaws and inconsistencies as well as pinpoint areas of improvement

  • Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, routers, switches, and wireless networks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network upgrades, expansions, and enhancements.

  • Oversee the configuration, installation, and maintenance of network equipment and software.

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting in assistance to end-users, resolving network and connectivity issues or Hardware issues in a timely manner.

  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to procure network and Hardware equipment, software, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.

  • Ability to configure and setup IP Phone and maintenance of IP PABX System

  • Maintain Inventory list of all IT equipment and update list periodically

  • Meeting environment setup both indoor and outdoor location

  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends related to network infrastructure and support, recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate

·       Contact with vendor and collect quotation and submit CS for approval

·       Maintain Surveillance System

·       Support the IT procurement team in the acquisition of IT Hardware, Software, Network support and services

  • Liaison with outsourced vendors to ensure timely supply of products to ensure smooth functioning of system 

Required Skills and Expertise

  • At least 2 - 3 years

  • Ability to configure and troubleshoot of Mikrotik Router and Switches

  • Fair knowledge of Routing protocol (OSPF, Static etc.), VPN, VLAN and NAT

  • Must have Customer service skills.

  • Must have customer focused attitude.

  • Must be able to effectively understand and communicate technical instruction.

  • Must be able to maintain quality reports.

  • Critical thinking and problem solving

  • Good judgement and organizational skills

  • Able to work independently.
