Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in CSE or IT related discipline. Educational qualification can be relaxed for skilled and experienced candidate.
Job Context:
∎ Gram Unnayan Karma (GUK) is one of the leading non-government social development organization in Bangladesh. This organization is helping the under-privileged people of Bangladesh by providing finance, education, healthcare, and market linkage to realize their full potential. GUK is operating in 56 districts of Bangladesh with more than 5000 employees. IT department is responsible for providing IT and computer-based solution and services to all of its concerns.
∎ Department: ICT
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Configuration and troubleshooting of workstation computers and servers in Windows and Linux platform.
∎ Installation and troubleshooting of computer networking equipment like switches, routers, firewalls etc.
∎ Installation and configuration of IP PABX, E-mail exchange server, File servers, web server, ERP, HRMS, Hospital Management software, Electronic Record Management software etc.
∎ Train up the IT resource users and provide support to them (including doctors, nurses, and hospital staffs) to get used to the software.
∎ Communicate with vendor (both home and abroad) to resolve any problem and to keep the service up and running.
∎ Ensure smooth operation and accessibility of in-house and remotely hosted solutions.
∎ Identify the need of new features and IT infrastructure requirement and take initiative to implement them.
∎ Forecast the need of IT related equipment and provide input for budget development.
Additional Requirements:
∎ The candidates must have solid foundation on Windows & Linux operating system.
∎ The candidates must have expertise on computer networking and managing switches, routers, firewalls etc.
∎ Candidates must have solid understanding of business processes and relevant configuration logic in Purchase, Sales, Inventory management, Accounting Management, Human Resource Management, Hospital Management and Electronic Record Keeping Software.
∎ The candidate should have experience of email exchange server and email client configuration.
∎ The applicant must have good expertise on Microsoft office application.
∎ The candidate must have good oral and written communication skills both in Bangla and English.
∎ The candidate must have good soft skills like interpersonal skills, stress management skills and emotional skills.
∎ Candidates having experience on computer programming / Web development will get advantage.
Salary: Negotiable
