• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field.

• Professional Certifications Preferred ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor, PCI DSS Implementation or QSA, CISSP, CISA, CEH, CISM.

• 5 to 8 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Banks

• 5-8 Years of working experience in Banking IT sector, with minimum 03 years proven work experience in implementation of IT policies, monitor, and maintain IT security systems, tools and controls to safeguard organizational data and infrastructure in Banking IT Sector.

• Proven experience in incident detection, analysis, and response, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and forensic investigations.

• Better understanding of security threats, attack vectors, vulnerabilities, exploits, and regulatory compliance requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce information security policies and standards in line with Bangladesh Bank’s ICT Security Guidelines.

• Strong technical knowledge in SIEM, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, forensic analysis, threat intelligence–based detection, firewalls, network protocols, packet analysis, Syslog, and Windows/Linux OS security vulnerabilities.

• Monitor IT infrastructure, servers, applications, and SIEM platforms for vulnerabilities, threats, and anomalies; ensure timely mitigation.

• Excellent understanding of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT infrastructure in the banking domain.

• Ensure up-to-date security patches and address observations from Bangladesh Bank IT audits, including internal and external audits.

• Detect, analyse, investigate, and respond to security incidents; prepare reports for management and Bangladesh Bank.

• Support IT governance, internal/external audits, and compliance reporting.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity controls into enterprise IT architecture.

• Propose employee training and awareness programs to foster a strong security culture.

• Stay updated on emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and regulatory requirements to strengthen the bank’s security posture.
