Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Officer - IT is responsible for carrying out the daily operation of the IT function, which includes end-user support, managing the agreed service levels, and continuous improvement of the IT Portfolio. This role holder will provide efficient and proactive support to internal customers on IT systems, efficient and proactive enabling and training of customers towards using IT systems and ensure maximum benefits to users within Hemas Bangladesh installing and configuring computer systems, networks, and applications; diagnosing hardware, software and network issues; and solving technical and application problems according to the advise from Hemas Consumer Brands Srilanka.
∎ a)Responsible for supporting users on the hardware, software, and networking troubleshooting in accordance with Helpdesk SLAs.
∎ b)Maintain effective communication with users while handling helpdesk requests until the task is completed, and follow-up with the user until the solution is accepted.
∎ c)Assisting the team in evaluating and implementing new technologies.
∎ d)Provide technical assistance with network hardware/firmware upgrades and troubleshooting.
∎ e)Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures and educate users on them as needed.
∎ f)Train and share knowledge on basic IT tools, technology, and best security practices with customers who have limited computer experience and knowledge.
∎ g)Carry out periodical maintenance of IT equipment (PCs, Printers & Servers) services along with relevant vendors to minimize hardware failures.
∎ h)Maintain up-to-date IT asset inventory
