Job Context:
∎ Dependable Solutions, Inc. develops integrated consumer product licensing systems used by licensees, licensors, and agents in the licensing industry. Our Web based application is a cradle to grave solution that includes contract management, financial transactions, royalty management, and asset management. We also develop an entertainment licensing solution.
∎ The role of the IT Manager is to manage and maintain the company`s server infrastructure (Microsoft Azure), as well as maintaining and supporting the 28 employees and their workstations (Windows 10 Pro). In addition, the IT Manager will be responsible for maintaining and updating IT related policies, renew existing certifications, and obtaining additional certifications as needed.
∎ REPORTS TO: Operations Manager
∎ LOCATION: Remote (Headquarters in USA, California, Los Angeles)
∎ TELECOMMUTE: Exclusively
∎ HOURS: Depending on location. Some calls will need to take place during business hours Pacific Time zone (UTC - 08:00)
∎ TERM: Full time - 40 hours / week
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Administer server and network infrastructure in Microsoft Azure
∎ Administer various Azure services
∎ Administer and support employee workstations
∎ Make recommendation and implement changes to optimize current infrastructure for added security and cost effectiveness
∎ Review, update, and maintain existing IT related policies and draft new policies as needed
∎ Maintain hardware and software inventories
∎ Ensure existing, IT related certifications are renewed
∎ Obtain new certifications to increase security
Additional Requirements:
∎ Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure administration
∎ Excellent English, written and spoken
∎ Three to five years of experience in Windows system administration
∎ Solid organizational skills including attention to detail while handling parallel priorities
∎ Degree in a related field or comparable work experience
∎ Experience with Azure DevOps
∎ Experience with Microsoft Project
Salary:
∎ Negotiable
