Job Context:

∎ As an IT Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the organization`s information technology infrastructure, systems, and services.
∎ Your role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of the company`s technology assets, implementing effective IT strategies, and providing technical support to the entire organization.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan, design, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, and software systems.
∎ Evaluate and implement new technologies and solutions to enhance efficiency, security, and scalability.
∎ Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring minimal downtime and quick issue resolution.
∎ Oversee data backups and disaster recovery strategies to safeguard critical information.
∎ Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
∎ Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify technology needs and create roadmaps for IT initiatives.
∎ Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions.
∎ Establish and enforce security protocols to protect the organization's data and infrastructure from potential threats and cyberattacks.
∎ Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies.
∎ Create and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
∎ Monitor expenses and identify opportunities for cost optimization without compromising on quality or security.
∎ Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to procure necessary hardware, software, and services.
∎ Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to ensure value for money.
∎ Provide technical support to employees, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
∎ Offer training and resources to users, enabling them to effectively utilize IT tools and applications
∎ Ensure compliance with relevant IT regulations, data protection laws, and industry standards.
∎ Maintain proper documentation and records to facilitate audits and regulatory reviews.
∎ Implement and oversee IT-related changes and upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
∎ Professional level expertise is required in Linux Operating System.
∎ Master's degree or additional certifications are advantageous.
∎ Proven experience in IT management or a similar leadership role.
∎ In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and security best practices.
∎ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
∎ Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
∎ Proficiency in project management and budgeting.
∎ A strategic mindset and the ability to align IT initiatives with business objectives.
∎ Familiarity with compliance standards and regulations in the IT industry.
Salary:
∎ 35000 - 45000 taka (Negotiable)
