∎ The incumbent will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and overall quality of our written content.
∎ The primary responsibility for this position will be to review and refine articles, reports, and other materials to meet the highest editorial standards.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Review and edit articles, features, reports, and other content to ensure they meet editorial guidelines, maintain consistency, and are free of errors in grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
∎ Verify the accuracy of information presented in the content, cross-referencing with reliable sources, and flagging any discrepancies or inaccuracies.
∎ Ensure that the content is written in a clear, concise, and engaging manner, adhering to the publication's style guide and tone.
∎ Craft compelling headlines and informative subheadings that accurately reflect the content's core message and capture readers' attention.
∎ Collaborate with writers to enhance their work by suggesting structural improvements, reorganizing content, or providing feedback to enhance readability and coherence.
∎ Use content management systems and tools effectively to input, edit, and format content for publishing.
∎ Play a vital role in maintaining the overall quality of the publication by ensuring that each piece of content meets high editorial standards before publication.
∎ Work closely with writers, editors, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth editorial workflow and foster a positive, constructive work environment.
∎ Prioritize tasks and adhere to strict deadlines, ensuring that all content is reviewed and ready for publication on schedule.
∎ Stay up-to-date with industry trends, writing styles, and best practices in journalism to continuously improve the publication's editorial output.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 24 years
∎ Minimum Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field.
∎ Experience in Journalism, Content Editing & Management, Understanding and Prioritizing content, Fact checking and Proofreading.
∎ Excellent communication skills in English and Bangla for written and verbal both.
∎ Time management skill and very enthusiastic towards given work.
∎ Computer skills (proficiency in MS-Word, MS- Excel, MS- PowerPoint, G Suit).
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members effectively.
∎ A passion for accuracy, storytelling, and maintaining editorial integrity.
∎ Familiarity with AP Style, Chicago Manual of Style, or other editorial guidelines.
