Job Context:
∎ Provides advanced professional input to complex IT Support assignments/projects. Supports and provides direction to more junior professionals. Works autonomously, only requiring "expert" level technical support from others. Exercises judgment in the evaluation, selection, and adaptation of both standard and complex techniques and procedures. Utilizes in-depth professional knowledge and acumen to develop models and procedures, and monitor trends, within IT Technical Operations.
∎ Provides counsel and advice to top management on significant IT Support matters, often requiring coordination between organizations. Focuses on providing thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines. Recognized internally as "the go-to person" for the most complex IT Services assignments.
∎ Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex IT Support assignments/projects. Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders. Focuses on providing thought leadership within Technical Support but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Analyzing a company's IT system and infrastructure.
∎ Diagnosing IT system problems, inefficiencies and weaknesses.
∎ Planning a timeline for completion of projects.
∎ Understanding a client's business needs.
∎ Implementing a technological solution to meet business needs.
∎ Analyzing and determining security threats.
∎ Providing advice on technology best practices.
∎ Collaborating with technical in-house team to ensure familiarity with technology.
∎ Training staff to use the new IT system.
∎ Monitoring the success of IT solution.
∎ Producing detailed reports on the efficacy of the technology.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ A new IT consultant will undertake training to improve business and technical skills such as coding, enterprise languages like SAP and programming languages like C, C++, C#, Java, Visual Basic, .NET or Python
Salary: Negotiable
