Job Context:
∎ This is a 6 Months Internship Program of World Vision Bangladesh, its objective is to create a pool of competent Youth ready to serve the most vulnerable.
∎ We are looking for Fresh Graduates who has the passion, dedication and commitment to learn and serve the most vulnerable community in remote areas of Bangladesh.
∎ It`s expected that the intern will be able to have hands on experience with the areas of Education; applying the principal that 70% is on job training, 20% is the Mentoring & Coaching that she/he shall receive from all the players in the team and 10% is the Formal Training that she/he shall receive to support her/his learning journey.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support the technical programme team and field staff to implement Functional Literacy & Life Skills (FL&LS) programing effectively.
∎ Assist in organizing capacity building events / orientation/workshop at National / Region level to ensure staff and partners have required skills and knowledge to implement Technical Programme (TP).
∎ Assist team members to provide capacity building of field staffs including technical resources and linkage to partners and stakeholders.
∎ Gain expertise on developing IEC and BCC materials of related Education program.
∎ Support to prepare events calendar and facilitate training session based on need.
∎ Learn to ensure quality monitoring of all capacity building events.
∎ Learn & assist in various ways of maintaining minimum standards Functional Literacy & Life Skills Technical Program (FL & LS) Program implementation.
∎ Assist to Collect, analyze and compile Area Program/Region field offices level data/information.
∎ Assist the team to write program summary report (monthly, quarterly, semiannually and annually.
∎ Assist in providing technical feedback to field level program staff based on consolidated reports, identifying areas of concern and learning.
∎ Identify and document best/promising practices and success stories as part of knowledge management and wider and dissemination.
∎ Support to capture and ensure technical monitoring standards, methods and practices at Area Programme (AP) levels maintained in implementing WV Bangladesh FL&LS TP.
∎ Learn to cross check data quality with actual filed situation and on job training/mentoring/coaching.
∎ Support to monitor different session, training and HH level practices using standard format/checklist and provide feedback to AP and APC technical specialist
∎ Participate in program evaluations as per requirement.
∎ Assist in undertaking quality assessments based on requests from the line management and support to provide necessary advice.
∎ Assist to write concept note / proposal writing, as well as monitor the donor projects.
∎ Learn to provide necessary information/data from Area Program/Primary Focus Areas to write concept notes.
∎ Support to undertake assessments and research to support fund acquisition.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 28 years
∎ 30% field visit is required.
∎ Effective Communication skills.
∎ Strong analytical skills.
∎ Proven experience as a team player.
∎ Demonstrated collaboration & team building skills.
∎ Understand advocacy theory, process and practice.
∎ Strong political awareness and judgment.
∎ Proven ability to write and produce report.
∎ Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
∎ Positive Attitude.
∎ Internal & External customer handling capacity.
∎ Self-Motivated.
