Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Assist in day-to-day financial operations, including data entry, record keeping, and maintaining financial documents.
∎ Support the finance and accounts team in preparing financial reports and statements.
∎ Participate in the analysis of financial data and assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
∎ Help with accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate tracking of transactions.
∎ Contribute to projects related to financial analysis, reporting, and compliance.
∎ Assist in developing and maintaining databases using Excel or relevant software.
∎ Collaborate with the CSE team on projects related to financial software and tools, ensuring efficient operations.
∎ Attend team meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development and understanding of the brokerage industry.
∎ Perform any other tasks assigned by senior staff as needed.
∎ We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Interns with backgrounds in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) to join our securities or brokerage company. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the finance and accounts department while learning about the operations of a brokerage firm. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals and contribute to various projects, gaining valuable insights into financial markets and accounting practices.
