∎ Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in Fashion Designing

∎ Age 24 to 30 years
∎ Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel, PowerPoint and PLM
∎ Ability to hand sketch is an advantage
∎ Knowledge and ability to adopt into 3D product creation platforms
∎ Must be technically skilled having a good understanding of product construction, silhouettes, fit and fabrications.
∎ Collaborative mindset and active participation to achieving common goals
∎ General customer and competitor research and analytical know how.
∎ Presentation, communication and ability to pitch to stakeholders/customers

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Work in collaboration with the Senior Designer to:
∎ analyse market conditions, identify brands competitive
∎ landscape, current product trends, new products and
∎ recommend potential new concepts for adoption in line
∎ with customer/brand/consumer needs such as relevant
∎ raw material newness, silhouette, print/graphic,
∎ embellishment etc. for our customers and provide product
∎ ranges that surpasses competitive offerings .
∎ Work cohesively with internal and external parties:
∎ capitalist on trends & market platforms and utilize
∎ customer insights to better understand new trends and
∎ opportunities for upcoming seasons whilst offering
∎ seasonal products, design, construction, fabrics, colors
∎ etc that are aligned to the agreed seasonal timelines and
∎ customer requirements.
∎ Work in collaboration with Senior Designers and
∎ Management to compile presentations for customers in
∎ order to highlight/provide information on design/product
∎ capability and market intelligence thereby optimizing
∎ customer relationship.
∎ Upon receiving the design briefs, create brand-write
∎ designs along with technical drawings and sketches and
∎ collaborate with the cross functional teams (e.g. technical
∎ and merchandising) to determine feasibility of the Tech
∎ Pack, update required systems and clearly communicate
∎ any changes to the relevant teams in order to drive design
∎ intent and sampling within the stipulated time frame.
∎ Together with guidance and support from the Senior
∎ Designers, collaborate with internal IE, Pattern making
∎ and consumption teams to ensure brand aesthetics are met
∎ to cost engineer the product.
∎ Develop and be able to utilize Digital Product Creation
∎ Partake in relevant development meetings and tech pack
∎ meetings to ensure design intent is clearly conveyed in
∎ terms of fit, material, construction, print embellishments,
∎ so the team has complete clarity of the design intent of
∎ concept.
∎ Demonstrate and understand the technical
∎ needs/requirements/ intent on design aesthetic & fit, and
∎ together with Senior/Lead Designers assist in the
∎ resolving of issues and the communication process with
∎ the relevant internal teams to get the right materials and
∎ outcomes from a raw material perspective.
∎ Maintain/update all documentation relevant to the design
∎ process from research to presentation, prepare style files,
∎ project plans, T&A, design briefs, design illustrations,
∎ tech packs to ensure clear/accurate information such as
∎ fabric trim information, embroidery details, size, colour,
∎ sketch, construction details etc. is available to the PDC for
∎ sample production
∎ Intern Duration - 6 Months
∎ Research/Analysis/ Customer/Consumer Profiling
∎ Design Intent Achievement :
∎ Design Illustrations And Technical Concept Drawings :
∎ Skills in order to demonstrate the product virtually to
∎ customer and or stakeholders, whilst also possessing
∎ sound know how and agility in using tools and platforms
∎ such as Browbeat, Clo 3D, Beyond XR. etc that in order
∎ to drive better engagement across different/ new
∎ applications.
