Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Follow up physical movement of the shipment with the wharf team until the shipment is passed through the customs to CFS/port, else escalate.
∎ Coordinate with BOI, Customs & Forwarder to ensure
∎ cargo clearance within agreed lead times to meet PSD
∎ timelines .
∎ Monitor physical movement of the shipment until it
∎ reaches the plant to ensure due support is given to meet
∎ the manufacturing timelines.
∎ Update import clearance records and statutory payments
∎ in system (SAP) to increase visibility for other
∎ departments .
∎ Update Merchants with regards to import clearance
∎ plant-wise (BPL & MAS Intimates).
∎ Ensure maintenance of shipping documents as per
∎ customs law and the customer for the specified period.
∎ Reconcile payments settled for the import clearance and
∎ highlight possible discrepancies and duplication.
∎ Update daily import clearance details plant-wise (BPL
∎ & MAS Intimates) to support data gathering for report
∎ generation end of the month.
∎ Secure transport arrangements from the port/ airport to
∎ In the event of uncleared or missing cargo, file reports
∎ and take necessary action to notify the relevant agencies
∎ of the lost or missing cargo to track, trace and clear the
∎ cargo.
∎ Internship Duration - 6 Months :
∎ the factory/raw material warehouse to ensure intact and
∎ timely receipt of cargo by warehouse maintaining
∎ security compliance.
