  • Possess a minimum of 2–3 years of instructional experience (e.g., Instructor, Lecturer, or higher) at a diploma-level agricultural institute or comparable training organization demonstrating a solid foundation in pedagogical delivery, aggrotech application, and academic leadership knowledge of field / practical implementation of subject oriented field will be privileged

  • In-depth knowledge of modern agricultural practices, technologies, and emerging trends, ensuring classroom content resonates with cutting-edge industry standards

  • Proficient in curriculum design and realignment across agriculture, fisheries, and livestock domains, ensuring curricula are praxis-oriented and calibrated to market and industrial exigencies

  • Exceptional ability to captivate student attention, employing dynamic voice modulation, storytelling, and Socratic questioning to sustain intellectual engagement

  • Fluency with contemporary pedagogical tools and aids to facilitate an immersive and interactive learning atmosphere

  • Mastery of active and experiential learning methods, using field-based projects, role-plays, and peer-led workshops that foster critical thinking and hands-on competence

  • Design interactive lesson plans that integrate flipped-classroom strategies, scenario-based simulations, and collaborative assignments for deeper student agency

Responsibilities & Context:
  • Thoroughly review the academic curriculum for each semester and prepare class module/notes accordingly for delivering in the classroom

  • Deliver immersive, hands‑on instruction, ensuring theoretical frameworks are pragmatically reinforced in laboratory and field contexts

  • Continuously modernize course content, aligning syllabi with evolving market demands, aggrotech breakthroughs, and Good Agricultural Practices (GAP).

  • Design and implement tailored short-course modules for farmers, field assistants, Agri-service providers, and entrepreneurs translating academic rigor into field‑ready competence

  • Develop and administer a comprehensive assessment suite encompassing quizzes, presentations, assignments, mid-term examinations, and board‑certified exams adhering rigorously to Controller of Exams schedule

  • Execute objective scoring and result compilation for both ongoing assessments and final board examinations

  • Serve as internal and / or external examiner, delivering impartial and calibrated grading in accordance with BTEB technical education standards

  • Coordinate enriched field attachments, integrating final-semester students into government and private agricultural enterprises for immersive practical training

  • Maintain authoritative, real-time expertise on BTEB regulations including syllabus frameworks, admission protocols, and grade distribution pursuant to the BTEB Act‑2018.

  • Champion the institute through targeted outreach, including seminars, consultative meetings, and community promotional campaigns.

  • Represent institute leadership in stakeholder engagements, liaising with BTEB, DAE, DoF, DLS, DEO, UEO, and local communities.

  • Vigilantly monitor BTEB guidelines, regulatory circulars, and policy updates ensuring institutional compliance and currency.

  • Assume critical administrative portfolios such as laboratory, farm, library, and student hostel management upholding operational excellence across facilities.

  • Lead co‑curricular and cultural initiatives, including research events, sports, cultural programming, and national day celebrations, fostering institutional spirit and civic awareness.

  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment

  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so

  • Perform any other jobs as assigned by the management
