HYDRAULIC SUPERVISOR

Full-Time
Supervise the inspection, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of hydraulic systems used in shipyard operations.
Assist the Hydraulic Specialist in maintaining ship lifts, transfer systems, marine cranes, lifting equipment, winches, workshop machinery, and mobile hydraulic equipment.
Diagnose hydraulic faults using schematics, technical drawings, and diagnostic tools.
Support the installation, commissioning, and upgrading of hydraulic equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance to ensure maximum equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Conduct troubleshooting and implement corrective actions for hydraulic system failures.
Monitor hydraulic system performance and recommend operational improvements.
Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and technical documentation.
Ensure all work complies with company safety standards, environmental regulations, and maintenance procedures.
Supervise technicians and ensure maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Diploma or Trade Certificate in Mechanical, Hydraulic, Marine Engineering, or a related technical field.
Minimum 7 years of experience as a Hydraulic Supervisor, Hydraulic Foreman, or equivalent.
Total industrial experience of 15 years in hydraulic maintenance is preferred.
Experience in Shipyard, Marine, Offshore, Heavy Equipment, or Port Maintenance is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, ship lifts, marine cranes, winches, and lifting equipment.
Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.
Experience in repairing hydraulic pumps, valves, cylinders, actuators, and hydraulic piping.
Good knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with diesel engines, electric control systems, and industrial equipment.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) skills.
Computer literacy and report preparation skills.
Good written and spoken English.
Strong leadership, communication, and team supervision skills.
