• Age 22 to 37 years

• Previous experience in inspection, sampling, minerals, cargo handling, port operations, weighment, stockyard operations, or a related field is preferred.

• Basic understanding of bulk cargo operations, representative sampling, quantity control and field documentation

• Willingness to travel within Bangladesh and work at ports, vessels, terminals, stockyards, warehouses, plants or customer sites according to operational requirements.

In this role, you need have mentality to take challenges in Sea & with water. To be a part of the Natural Resources Team, you have the below responsibilities:

Job Preparation

• Read job instructions, client requirements and procedures before starting work.

• Ensure all tools, sampling equipment, forms, communication devices and PPE are ready for use.

Inspection, Sampling and Quantity Control

• Conduct inspections and collect representative samples of cargo as assigned.

• Prepare, label, seal, store and transfer samples according to SGS procedures.

• Witness weighing, loading, unloading and cargo movement activities.

• Check cargo condition and report any contamination, damage, shortage, spillage, or irregularity.

Vessel, Port and Terminal Activities

• Attend vessels, terminals, warehouses, stockyards and other work locations when required.

• Monitor vessel and cargo operation status as instructed.

• Record operation timings, delays, weather conditions and other important events.

Documentation and Reporting

• Complete inspection reports, sampling records, checklists and other documents accurately.

• Review reports before submission to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information.

HSE Responsibilities:

• Complete required HSE awareness, induction and training and apply the requirements at the workplace.

• Conduct a Check-Status or equivalent risk assessment before starting each task and confirm that appropriate controls are in place.

• Wear applicable PPE correctly, check its suitability and report damaged or unsuitable PPE.
