Innovation Manager will be primarily responsible for managing the process of innovation. However, the responsibilities also include recognizing & supporting innovative ideas generated by other people. The ideal candidate will focus on innovation through technology & should possess broad knowledge base about tech trend/industry.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Support and guide engineers to develop quality ideas from the scratch and help them to prepare relevant documentations
∎ Analyze large amounts of complex technical information (prior art study) and report findings in an accurate and relevant manner
∎ Assess novelty and non-obviousness assessment of an invention and provide appropriate feedback to inventors
∎ Review ideas in the internal lab wise idea prescreening session and report to superiors
∎ Prepare periodic "Technology Survey Reports"
∎ Provide Knowledge Sharing Sessions on different technologies in line with Samsung
∎ Provide support for Technology workshop, contests and events
∎ Any other task assigned by superiors
Additional Requirements:

∎ Technical writing, research publications & exposure in tech innovation activities/tasks will be given preference.
∎ Knowledge on smart phone, tablets, TVs, cameras and other devices in line with Samsung's area of interest
∎ Passion for technology innovation. Keep abreast of the latest technology trends, inventions and industry
∎ Excellent writing skill, quality report writing ability
∎ Excellent communication skill
∎ Dynamic and multi-tasking ability and Handle immense pressure
