Job Context:
∎ We`re looking for an experienced IT Assistant to support the North End`s various facilities functions in role of Information Technology Assistant.
∎ Reports to: Manager - Information Technology

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Able to configure computer hardware, networking equipment and install operating systems, applications software.
∎ Investigating, diagnosing and solving software and hardware faults.
∎ Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, printers, smartphones/tablets.
∎ Troubleshooting skills on computer system and internet problems.
∎ Hands-on experience on networking (LAN, WAN, related hardware/software).
∎ MikroTik Router installation, configuration and load balancing.
∎ Wi-Fi access point (Cambium, Unify), managed, unmanaged and PoE switch configuration and troubleshooting.
∎ Network Printer/Smart printer, local printer installation and troubleshoot.
∎ Installation, configuration and troubleshoot with camera surveillance system (NVR, DVR, IP/analog camera).
∎ Work experience on MS office 365.
∎ Able to manage IT inventory and recommend optimum hardware/Software solution.
∎ Follow through with system/data backup, recovery and security.
∎ Able to adapt with latest release of technologies/features/hardware's.
∎ Coordinate with external IT service providers/suppliers to implement IT solution.
∎ Able to manage multiple cases simultaneously independently under pressure.
∎ Able to provide in-person and remote support when required.
∎ Knowledge on Google workspace/drive.
∎ Basic knowledge on Server/Client model, Database.
∎ Basic Knowledge on WordPress website maintenance, update and backup.
∎ Basic knowledge on Hybrid server solution (On-premises and Cloud).
∎ Other ad-hoc basis responsibilities assigned by line manager and management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 24 to 30 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Training/Certification: Computer Hardware, Networking (CCNA, MTCNA), System administrator (MCSA, RHCSA), Database, Cloud computing, Windows server hybrid administrator, Webpage design and development will get preference.
∎ IT related problem-solving skills.
∎ Strong verbal and written communication skills, both Bengali and English.
∎ Well-organized, detail oriented and customer (internal and external) focused self-starter.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 18250 - 32250 (Monthly)
∎ This post falls within North End`s salary grade B (BDT 18,250 - BDT 32,250) commensurate with experience and skills.
