Job Context:
∎ CONTRACT DURATION: 31st January 2023
∎ START DATE: As Soon As Possible.
∎ WORK LOCATION: Ukhiya, Teknaf, Ramu and Maheshkhali.
∎ CONTRACT TYPE: Fixed Term.

∎ Monitor and provide supervision for the implementation of "GIZ Info-hubs intervention in Cox`s Bazar 2021 -2023" project at Upazila level and provide technical support to the field staffs for smooth and timely implementation of the project activities. Guide and supervise field staffs. Assist Program Manager-Info Hubs in drafting internal and donor`s reports and maintaining liaison with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Specifically, the Info Hubs Project Sr. Officer will be overall responsible for smooth implementation of Upazila level project activities.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mission 1:Support implementation of "GIZ Info-hubs intervention in Cox's Bazar 2021 -2023" project
∎ Ensure timely and efficient implementation of program activities under the guidance of the Program Manager-Info Hubs and according to the Detailed Implementation Plan.
∎ Support Program Manager-Info Hubs in development of project follow-up and supervision monitoring tools.
∎ Apply the project's follow-up and supervision monitoring tools
∎ Supervise the Info Hub entrepreneur selection process and participate in the selection process.
∎ Ensure the establishment of Info Hubs for improving information and knowledge resources of community people.
∎ Assist to generate Income Generating opportunities of entrepreneurs for sustainability of the Info Hubs at the end of the project
∎ Ensure remote information support to target population by the Info Hubs.
∎ Ensure formation of livelihood group for facilitation and information campaign and outreach activities to ensure information services are available at doorsteps
∎ Ensure effective linkages between producers and livelihood service providers & value chain actors at local level
∎ Assist Program Manager-Info Hubs in establishment of project beneficiaries database system with analysis
∎ Identify and inform the Program Manager-Info Hubs of any problems or constraints at the field level
∎ Coordinate the field activities and provide technical support at field level
∎ Visit field on a regular basis and provide assistance to field staffs and project beneficiaries as needed
∎ Mission 2: Develop IEC materials and build the capacity of the staffs & stakeholders
∎ Assist Program Manager-Info Hubs to develop information content base and IEC material on support services for info hubs and ensure designation both digitally and in hard copy for targeted population
∎ Ensure staff capacity building training, orientation and meeting to implement the project in time implementation.
∎ Organize capacity development training sessions for Union Digital Centres staffs and enhance their capacity
∎ Ensure capacity building of Info Hubs Project Assistant Officers and Community Mobilizer-Info Hubs
∎ Assist Program Manager-Info Hubs to develop user-friendly training manual to conduct ICT trainings
∎ Facilitate Info Hubs Project Assistant Officers and Community Mobilizer-Info Hubs to conduct ICT skills trainings to improve digital skills of target population
∎ Select and assist Program Manager-Info Hubs to execute potential apprenticeship opportunities at info hubs
∎ Assist Info Hub entrepreneurs to create Income Generating opportunities for the sustainability of the Info-Hubs
∎ On-job coaching of the project team during project implementation
∎ Support Program Manager-Info Hubs for training needs assessment of the staffs and project beneficiaries
∎ Assist Program Manager-Info Hubs to arrange and conduct staff capacity building training
∎ Mission 3: Support for internal and external coordination and networking
∎ Ensure proper communication between the stakeholders and project beneficiaries of livelihood interventions of GIZ: SHRC project in Cox's Bazar implemented by ICCO, Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation and Shushilan in the field
∎ Participate in internal and external coordination meetings with food security and DRR actors at Upazila level (ensure minutes of meetings when necessary);
∎ Organize necessary meeting and workshop with relevant stakeholders and technical departments to improve access to information and successful info-hub operation.
∎ Participate in Upazila level NGO coordination meetings.
∎ Represent the organization in different meetings with authorities and clusters at the field level.
∎ Maintain proper liaison with local authorities at local level
∎ Prepare report for internal and external meetings al local level.
∎ Facilitate and participate staff meeting, lesson learn workshop, exit meeting etc.
∎ Mission 4: Project activities monitoring, reporting and documentation.
∎ Participate in developing different monitoring tools
∎ Design a monitoring plan with the guidance from Program Manager and ensure the regular monitoring based on the plan
∎ Apply project follow-up and supervision tools and ensure that project activities are in right track to meet performance indicators
∎ Assist Info Hubs Project Assistant Officers and Community Mobilizer-Info Hubs in organizing and conducting assessment, survey, monitoring data collection, etc.
∎ Regular monitoring and follow-up the project's progress and provide need base support and suggestion
∎ Ensure collect and documentation of quantitative and qualitative information from the field
∎ Write up project challenge, lesson learn, case story, suggestion and recommendation of different relevant stakeholder
∎ Assist Program Manager-Info Hubs to document project learning and capitalization

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years proven professional experience in the relevant fields of Food Security & Livelihood (FSL), Communication, ICT4D projects;
∎ Minimum 2 years of experience working in INGOs;
∎ Experience with rights based approach is preferable;
∎ Minimum one-year experience of working in Cox's Bazar district with Refugee and/or host community will add value.
∎ Willingness to stay at working location.

∎ Good knowledge on social safety nets programmes

Salary: Tk. 71000 (Monthly)
