∎ JOB PURPOSE: Facilitating the innovation ecosystem at BRAC through initiatives and processes that accelerates the successful development of emerging ideas into projects. The individual will collaborate closely with other BRAC programmes and external organisations for generation of ideas, prototyping and develop proof-of-concept through leading small-scale pilots. Also, the person will emphasise to build a culture of entrepreneurial mindset within the organisation and incubatees.
∎ SAFEGUARDING RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme`s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Managing the planning, development and implementation of incubation initiatives.
∎ Developing external partnerships to enhance organisational impact of initiatives revolving around business incubation and entrepreneurship.
∎ Designing key indicators and contribute to improve impact measurement as well as management processes.
∎ Leading knowledge documentation of prototype and pilot results through digital means.
∎ Giving presentation to senior leadership and BRAC programmes on intervention outcome and knowledge sharing.
∎ Supervising module and curriculum development for incubation practices and offerings.
∎ Leading and facilitating training programs related to business incubation and exploring scale pathways for innovative projects.
∎ Forging partnerships with key stakeholders and partners to be engaged in the program and obtain their support and execute program strategy.
∎ Documenting lessons learned, challenges, field visits, meeting notes. Maintaining and disseminating knowledge management related materials, as appropriate.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Project management, Proactive communication, Emotional Intelligence, Basic research and ability to develop insights.
∎ Strategic thinking, ability to focus on tangible results, Learning and collaborative mindset, Decision-making ability under difficult situations
∎ 1-2 years of experience in the development sector or corporate sector.
