Job Context:
∎ Contract Duration: 31 January 2023
∎ Start Date: ASAP
∎ Location: Cox`s Bazar (Travel to field locations in Ramu, Moheshkhali, Ukhiya and Teknaf Upazilla)
∎ Provide optimum ICT and IS support to the Info Hub project in Cox`s Bazar, including functioning ICT set-ups in all Info Hubs and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to implement ICT & IS-related activities of the Info Hub project.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Mission 1: Management on ICT environment in the Info Hubs
∎ Ensure entire ICT functionalities in project offices and Info Hubs are as per ACF standard;
∎ Install and maintain intranet and internet in the project offices and Info Hubs according to organization standards;
∎ Monitoring base entire network equipment functionalities properly (NAS, switches, and router);
∎ Ensure the smooth running, maintenance and software of workstation according to organization standard;
∎ Manage and monitor user and collaboration data backup system;
∎ Ensure all kind of security and protection with organization's compliance protection software and measures;
∎ Record, update and allocate equipment as per plan;
∎ Follow up on repairs maintenance procedures all equipment (photocopiers, printer, scanners, telecoms and satellites etc.) and properly maintain e-wastage;
∎ Report issues to the IT Manager for escalation;
∎ Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment software and antivirus;
∎ Maintain inventory of all equipment, software, software licenses and data backup (individual and collaboration).
∎ Mission 2: Provide Technical ICT support to the Info Hubs project
∎ Day to day support and troubleshooting software, hardware , network and telecom in project offices and Info Hubs;
∎ Provide timely ICT help desk support and resolve problem to the end user satisfaction;
∎ Provide support to data backup mechanism for office and field users;
∎ Responsible to organize proper ICT help desk for users;
∎ Support NAS and relevant access management control;
∎ Provide support to android users to use relevant apps;
∎ Ability to work independently to troubleshoot, perform root cause analysis, identify and isolate technical issues;
∎ Provide full technical support to field offices and Info Hubs' network infrastructure (cable and patch panels, switches, routers) according to ACF standard and troubleshoot the same;
∎ Carry out routine network maintenance tasks;
∎ Ensure proper useful access control systems.
∎ Mission 3: Sensitize the users, Reporting and Analysis
∎ Show the users how to use the computer equipment properly;
∎ Explain the maintenance tasks to be carried out regularly (clean-up, defragmentation, antivirus etc.);
∎ Make sure that each user takes good care of the material he/she is handling;
∎ Provide regular and high quality needs-based training and capacity building to IT users of the Info Hub project;
∎ Adapt general ACF/ICT policies to the local context;
∎ Provide regular informal updates to Hierarchical & Functional Manager about progress;
∎ Contact with the Capital/HQ IT unit for technical support when needed;
∎ Monthly reporting to functional manager on overall field office and Info Hubs' ICT status.
∎ Mission 4: Follow up the mobile information system project.
∎ Gather users' needs and help to write technical specifications
∎ Participate in contractor's selection
∎ Follow up developments and ensure smooth communication between all stakeholders
∎ Write and conduct acceptance test plan
∎ Prepare and ensure app deployment (pilot, feedbacks, improvements, etc..)
∎ Supervise app maintenance and user's help and training

Salary: Tk. 55000 (Monthly)

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 1-month basic salary twice per year.
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary.
