Job Context:
∎ Under the direct supervision of Executive Director, the HR & Admin Officer is responsible to assist overall administrative activities including recruitment, and the staff management etc.
∎ Department / Unit: HR & Administration

∎ Reportable to: Executive Director
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The HR & Admin Officer has to perform the following responsibilities (not limited to):
∎ HUMAN RESOURCE (HR) RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ To assist in the full range of human resource management and related functions;
∎ Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as hires, performance appraisals, and turnover analysis and absenteeism rates etc. Maintain manpower records and organized data and bank reports;
∎ Ensure all recruitment policies, procedures and techniques are properly followed.
∎ Handling disciplinary actions for the employees in accordance with labor law and organizational policy (BWHC Service Rules);
∎ ADMINISTRATIVE TASK:
∎ Assist to organize meetings, training, seminar, workshop and other programs;
∎ Ensure all logistic supports in time for all of the project team members and field staffs to run the project(s) smoothly;
∎ Maintain vehicle operational and maintenance activities;
∎ Conduct and assist for procurement related activities for both head office and projects;
∎ Coordinate with the team in terms of annual & quarterly report printing and publication;
∎ Coordinate to send all official letters, documents and reports to the donor, governing body, other organizations and stakeholders;
∎ Responsible for total administrative works and coordinate with departmental heads properly.
∎ Planning, developing, updating and implementing different policies and procedures pertaining to the strategies of administration.
∎ Develop initiatives to nurture a positive working environment, reduce absenteeism & turnover through close monitoring, counseling and bridging management employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, and discipline & performance issues.
∎ To update strategic policy & procedures in aspect of admin, HR & compliance issues including staff provident funds and gratuity benefits;
∎ Any other task assignment by the top management/ supervisor from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s) NGO experiences focusing in Human Resource & Administration;
∎ Dealing with NGO Affairs Bureau is an advantage;
∎ Writing project proposals/fundraising is also an advantage;
∎ Willing to travel around the country;
∎ Incumbent should be strong, mentally & physically, to manage a large administration.
∎ Sound knowledge on Bangladesh Labor Law and other applicable laws & regulations
∎ Strong interpersonal communication skills and good public relation.
∎ Good command both in English and Bengali.
∎ Must have good operational knowledge on email communication, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint presentation.
Salary: Tk. 30000 - 35000 (Monthly)
