Experience:
Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Development Studies, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in program management, civil society engagement, or rights-based advocacy with national and international organization.
Working with bilateral/multilateral donors (e.g., SIDA, USAID, DFID, EU) is an asset.
Proven experience working with older populations, gender equity, or marginalized communities.
Strong leadership, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Excellent communication skills in Bangla and English.
Familiarity with donor-funded project management and reporting.

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager & Focal Person to lead the implementation of our new project focused on empowering civil society and advancing the rights of older people in Bangladesh. This role will serve as the strategic and operational lead, coordinating stakeholders, managing program delivery, and representing BWHC in national and international platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, planning, and execution of the project across target districts.
Coordinate with civil society organizations, government agencies, and older people’s networks.
Ensure compliance with bilateral/multilateral donors (e.g., SIDA, USAID, DFID, EU) financial guidelines and reporting requirements.
Facilitate advocacy campaigns, policy dialogues, and inclusive civic engagement.
Oversee program monitoring, evaluation, and reporting in collaboration with the MEAL team.
Build capacity of local partners and older people’s organizations.
Serve as the primary liaison with donors and strategic partners.
