∎ B.Sc in EEE or CSE from any UGC approved University
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Lead the Toffee Technology team in terms of planning, execution, operation & quality assurance in the managed service operation
∎ Lead to set a solid strategy & road map for toffee technology in line with the Toffee business
∎ Contribute to preparing long term & short business plans including budgeting & cost-effective but high performing solution
∎ Getting involved with the governance of the regular operation with the view to put in place process optimizations in line with DevOps principles
∎ Capacity management (with a view on the hardware, network, and application architecture) improvement of the end-to-end platform based on the recommendations and future roadmap defined the Toffee Technical Assessment workstream
∎ Lead to prepare, maintain & present a dashboard to management according to the agreed KPIs
∎ Plan and support the migration of the required technical components to a CDN network
∎ Plan, support the roll-out operations monitoring tools for infrastructure and application performance metric/KPI and SLA monitoring & sustain the best KPIs
∎ Support in implementing security safeguards recommended in the Toffee Technical assessment & maintain as per company policy
∎ Incorporation of new requirements as per business demand
∎ Improve application back end and front end architecture, code structure, and APIs in line with product evolution
∎ Establish standard agile process related to SW development, incident management, change management & capacity management
∎ Lead optimization & transformation of toffee technology
Additional Requirements:
∎ More than 15 Years of Experience with a minimum of 8 years of experience in high scale OTT technology or related field
∎ In-depth Technical knowledge on developing and supporting OTT platform, video streaming platform, mobile TV services, Television broadcasting, feed management & feed contents
∎ Hands-on experience, specialized expertise & broad understanding in infrastructure, network & application on OTT ecosystem workflows and technology/product including video encoding methods, packaging, software & protocols, both in theory and practice
∎ Experience in cross-platform software development (C/C++/Java/C#) on OSX, Windows, Android, and iOS platforms, a plus
∎ Experience in Dimensioning & capacity management for video streaming services
∎ Hands-on experience on CDN technologies, SaaS, and Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Redis, etc.)
∎ Solid experience in Digital application and infrastructure architecture, performance, and tuning
∎ Keen knowledge of API integration, caching, application frameworks & other technologies
∎ In-depth knowledge of Network, infrastructure and application monitoring, operations handling, policies, and process governance
∎ Experience in Cyber security, control mechanism & DRM expertise
∎ Bandwidth management, routings, and configurations
∎ Experience in strategic planning for emerging business opportunities.
∎ In-depth knowledge to prepare business plan including short term & long terms strategy, budgeting roadmap of technology
∎ Solid experience in vendor management or stakeholder management including clear understanding & practice of governance with specific KPIs/SLAs in complex organizational setups
∎ Demonstrated track record in driving discussions to consensus through technical rationale, considering pros/cons of various approaches, and being both "pro or con" in technical negotiations seeking to find solutions meeting the requirements of all stakeholders
