Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business AdministrationEngineering, Supply Chain Management, Environmental Science, Energy, Economics, Finance or a relevant discipline from a recognized university.

Master's degree / MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification will be preferred.

Professional qualifications relating to supply chain, project management, energy, sustainability, carbon markets or business management will be considered an advantage

Candidates should demonstrate a strong combination of the following capabilities:Proven senior-level leadership and organizational management capability.Strong commercial negotiation and business-development track record.Experience in B2B industrial markets, large-scale supply chains, commodity trading, manufacturing, energy or infrastructure.Understanding of biomass, alternative fuels, industrial boilers, steam systems, pellet/briquette production, waste-to-resource technologies or related industrial processes.Working knowledge of sustainability, carbon markets, carbon finance, CDM/VCS, Article 6.2, ITMO or MRV systems will be a significant advantage.Ability to negotiate and maintain relationships with major industrial groups, institutional stakeholders and government authorities.Strong understanding of contract negotiation, commercial structuring, supply agreements and industrial offtake arrangements.Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across technology, operations, engineering, sales and carbon-finance functions.Strong analytical, financial and strategic decision-making capability.High ethical standards and strong corporate governance orientation.Ability to operate effectively in a fast-growing and execution-intensive business environment.Strong cross-cultural communication capability, particularly in working with Bangladeshi, Korean and international stakeholders.Excellent written and spoken English.Professional proficiency in Bangla will be preferred.Willingness to travel frequently to regional hubs, factories, industrial facilities and project sites across Bangladesh.

B&F Group of Companies for sister concern NetZero Carbon Ltd. is seeking an experienced, commercially driven and execution-focused senior professional to lead the Solid X Platform as Head of Solid X Platform / Chief Operating Officer (COO) with the following job responsivities;

Strategic & Business Leadership

• Lead the overall commercial, operational and organizational development of the Solid X Platform.

• Translate the Solid X business strategy into measurable operational, commercial and financial targets.

• Develop and execute the national rollout strategy covering regional hubs, suppliers, industrial customers and strategic partners.

• Take ownership of business performance, operating targets, revenue generation and platform-level P&L.

• Report directly to the Executive Chairman and provide regular management updates on commercial performance, operational progress, risks and strategic priorities.

Responsivities & Context;

Solid X Digital Marketplace & Platform Operations

• Lead the development and commercial deployment of the Solid X Enterprise Cloud / B2B Marketplace.

• Coordinate digital integration of suppliers, production hubs, logistics operators and industrial buyers.

• Oversee implementation of digital weighbridge data, IoT-based monitoring, QR/e-Waybill systems, transaction records and settlement mechanisms.

• Establish transparent operating procedures for biomass and alternative-fuel transactions across the platform.

• Ensure that operational data can support financial settlement, traceability and carbon MRV requirements.

Biomass & Alternative-Fuel Supply Network

• Develop and operationalize a nationwide upstream supply network covering major biomass and waste-resource streams.

• Establish commercial relationships with large rice mills and other strategic raw-material suppliers.

• Develop supply arrangements for rice husk, poultry litter, sawdust/timber waste, sludge and other approved resource streams.

• Lead development and commissioning of regional supply and processing hubs.

• Ensure adequate feedstock availability, quality control, logistics efficiency and supply-chain reliability.

Industrial Offtake & Commercial Development

• Build and lead the downstream industrial customer pipeline for biomass pellets, briquettes, SRF and related Solid X products.

• Develop long-term relationships with RMG/textile factories, dyeing units, industrial boilers, manufacturing companies, chemical industries and other thermal-energy users.

• Lead negotiations for industrial fuel supply, Energy-as-a-Service, steam supply and other commercial arrangements.

• Develop long-term offtake agreements and strategic partnerships with major industrial groups.

• Establish pricing, commercial terms, customer service standards and sales-performance KPIs.

Carbon Finance, Article 6.2 & Digital MRV

• Provide executive leadership for the platform's carbon-credit and climate-finance strategy.

• Coordinate the development of Paris Agreement Article 6.2 / ITMO opportunities associated with eligible Solid X activities.

• Work closely with the Carbon Finance/MRV team to develop robust monitoring, reporting and verification systems.

• Coordinate, where required, with the relevant Bangladesh government authorities regarding project authorization, corresponding adjustment and related regulatory processes.

• Support engagement with Korean and international carbon-market institutions, climate-finance partners and technology partners.

• Ensure that commercial operations, feedstock records, production data and fuel displacement information are properly integrated into the digital MRV architecture.

Government, Institutional & Strategic Partnerships

• Represent the Solid X Platform in strategic discussions with government ministries, agencies, municipalities, financial institutions and development partners.

• Lead high-level negotiations with major Bangladeshi industrial conglomerates and strategic corporate partners.

• Coordinate effectively with Korean and other international technology, investment and climate-finance partners.

• Support development of PPP, JV, investment, EPC, climate-finance and commercial partnership structures where appropriate.

Organizational & Operational Leadership

Lead and coordinate the principal Solid X execution functions, including:

• Carbon Finance & MRV

• B2B Technology / Digital Platform

• Regional Supply Hubs

• Downstream Offtake & Commercial Sales

• EPC Engineering, Operations & Quality Assurance

The COO will establish clear accountability, operating KPIs, reporting systems and cross-functional coordination among these teams.

Financial & Performance Management

• Prepare and manage operating plans, annual budgets and business forecasts.

• Monitor revenue, operating expenditure, gross margin, logistics costs and business-unit profitability.

• Develop management dashboards covering production, supply, sales, inventory, logistics, carbon performance and financial results.

• Identify operational bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.

• Maintain strong commercial discipline and risk-control mechanisms while scaling the platform.
