• Experience: At least 7 years of relevant professional experience in industrial products, biomass/solid fuel, technical sales, manufacturing or business development.
• Practical knowledge of biomass-based fuels, industrial energy applications and B2B sales is strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to lead marketing and sales development alongside technical operations.
• Working knowledge of e-commerce operations, website coordination and digital marketing tools.
• Strong communication, negotiation, team leadership and analytical reporting skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel nationwide for client development and operational coordination.

Job Context

Solid X Platform, an initiative of NetZero Carbon Limited, focuses on sustainable solid-fuel solutions and waste-to-resource businesses, including biomass briquettes, pellets, rice-husk-based fuels, sawdust-based fuels and alternative industrial energy products.

We seek a technically proficient and commercially driven Chief Technical Officer (CTO) to lead product and operational development while building a nationwide industrial customer network and expanding digital business channels. The position combines engineering leadership, business development, industrial sales and e-commerce execution.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Operations & Product Development

• Lead technical planning, improvement and commercialization of biomass briquettes, pellets and related solid biofuel products.
• Oversee raw-material selection, production-process efficiency, product specifications and quality assurance, including moisture, ash content and calorific value.
• Coordinate with factories, suppliers and technical teams to maintain reliable production and consistent fuel quality.
• Assess industrial boiler requirements and advise customers on product suitability, handling and practical fuel applications.
• Identify opportunities for process innovation, new product development and cost optimization.

Nationwide Sales & Business Development

• Develop and execute nationwide market-entry, industrial sales and distribution strategies for Solid X products.
• Build relationships with industrial clients, distributors, dealers and institutional buyers across Bangladesh.
• Target sectors such as textiles, garments, food processing, feed mills and other boiler-based manufacturing facilities.
• Conduct technical-commercial meetings, understand customer fuel requirements and support quotations, proposals and negotiations.
• Set measurable sales targets, oversee the sales pipeline and report business performance to management.

E-Commerce, Website & Digital Marketing

• Lead the development, maintenance and commercial effectiveness of the Solid X website and e-commerce channels.
• Coordinate online product listings, inquiries, lead generation, customer follow-up and digital sales conversion.
• Supervise social-media outreach on Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant platforms.
• Plan and monitor SEO, paid digital campaigns, product content and online brand communication.
• Introduce structured customer and sales tracking through suitable CRM and reporting tools.

Leadership, Coordination & Reporting

• Coordinate cross-functional activities involving production, quality, procurement, marketing, logistics and sales.
• Prepare technical and commercial development plans, periodic performance reports and recommendations for management.
• Monitor market feedback, product complaints and client requirements to support continuous improvement.
• Travel to factories, customer sites and industrial zones throughout Bangladesh as required.
