BSc / MSc in Mechanical Engineering (ME) from any reputed university.

• Age 30 to 40 years

• Strong expertise in product design, development, and localization.

• Excellent command over BOM management, PP, first article approval, and product benchmarking.

• Proficiency in design and engineering tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX, or equivalent).

• Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, testing methodologies, and quality assurance systems.

• Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and decision-making capability.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Define and drive the overall R&I strategy aligned with Walton’s business goals and long-term roadmap.

• Lead new product development (NPD), product improvement, and localization for Rice Cooker, Electric Cooker, Pressure Cooker, and Cookware.

• Provide technical and strategic leadership to R&I, Process Development, and product engineering teams.

• Oversee BOM creation, modification, level-wise control, and systematic cost optimization.

• Ensure full compliance with BSTI, ISO, safety, and energy efficiency standards.

• Support manufacturing through process optimization, bottleneck reduction, yield improvement, and quality enhancement.

• Drive cost reduction, localization of critical parts, and warranty claim reduction initiatives.

• Analyze field failures, customer complaints, and market feedback to enhance product reliability and performance.

• Collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Sales teams.

• Prepare and present technical reviews, innovation roadmaps, and project updates to top management.
