Requirements:

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise a team of QA Coordinators in Bangladesh. Act as a trainer and coach, provide technical support and guidance to QA Team and conduct performance evaluations through KPIs. Building their expertise in quality tools and methodologies to support their professional skills.
∎ Proactively lead QA Operations, own and take responsibility for all quality related enquiries, issues and give solution to respective internal and external business units.
∎ Establish solid working connections with key internal and external partners to guarantee all quality systems, best practices and tools are properly rolled out and utilized.
∎ Plan random/regular visits to suppliers/factories to access product/process quality level and cross-check QA Team’s working for necessary calibration. Monitor factories/supplier’s performance in terms of quality and efficiency of execution, focusing on KPIs defined by BMG.
∎ Actively contribute ideas and best practices to the Manufacturing Excellence/ Quality Assurance framework of BMG. Identify opportunities for standardization and sharing of best practices of quality improvement across all factories/suppliers.
∎ Provide timely and relevant information/data/analytics about product quality and factory’s capacity/capability to BMG teams so they can make informed decisions. Use relevant data to support the development of factory improvement plans to elevate factory performance and thus product quality.
∎ Develop and Execute BMG’s QMS Audit Guidelines to evaluate new/existing suppliers’ Quality Management System, Product & Process capability/capacity, Technical expertise as well as legal & social compliance in order to meet and exceed the BMG quality goals.
∎ Develop and execute system of Risk Assessment to identify high risk Products/Suppliers (on Brand/styling/raw material and supplier capacity/capability) and carry out timely pre-production and in-line inspections, to support BMG’s quality, product compliance/safety and delivery objectives. Provide technical advice where needed, so that potential problems due to design, materials and construction are flagged in a timely manner.
∎ Guide/Train to Factories to Develop Dedicated Quality Assurance system for BMG Products’ manufacturing to consistently meet and improve product quality, process execution, and get product right first time.
∎ Formulate and implement supplier technical rating criteria (as part of BMG score card process) to drive through continuous capability improvement.
∎ Report, maintain and monitor the Quality IT tools on a regular basis. Keep monitoring of BMG Orders’ quality level through Inline Inspections, Pre-Production Meetings/Risk Assessment Meetings, factory’s floor visits with involvement of QA Team.
∎ Proactively monitor supplier performance indicators and act to escalate new/reoccurring issues that impact on quality and competence KPI’s.
∎ Monitor and Manage QA KPIs associated with BMG’s business objectives and projects to support quality improvement and returns reduction.
∎ Contribute in the development of BMG’s short-term/long-term quality strategies and targets to meet customer’s expectations. Partner across all levels of Quality Assurance and Sourcing leadership to explore, solidify and present new product quality strategies.
∎ Plan and organize all regular Quality Assurance meetings, including setting up meeting charters/deliverables and to share updates on Supplier/factory/country’s quality performance.
∎ Track quality claims/Complaints and defective returns to coordinate analysis in collaboration with BMG Teams and Suppliers/factories. Ensure that root cause is identified, corrective action plans are established and executed.
∎ Facilitate BMG UK Office in Shade/Color Approvals or any technical go-aheads.
∎ A UK Based Liaison Office is hiring a Head of QA & Inspectors for its Dhaka Office to take the full responsibility QA, inspection and quality of full goods, also the activities assigned by company.
∎ He will be responsible for & value addition to the business.
