∎ Experience in optical fiber cable manufacturing or related high-precision cable/electronics industry is highly preferred.
∎ Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and ERP systems.
∎ Proven leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Lead day-to-day factory operations including production, quality, maintenance, planning, and logistics.
∎ Set operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement across all departments.
∎ Ensure on-time production and delivery to meet customer demands and project deadlines.
∎ Develop and implement effective production schedules based on demand forecasts and order pipelines.
∎ Optimize machine and manpower utilization to improve output and reduce downtime.
∎ Ensure proper calibration and operation of specialized optical fiber equipment and machinery.
∎ Implement stringent quality control protocols to ensure product meets international standards (e.g., ITU-T, ISO, etc.).Work closely with the Quality team to address deviations and implement corrective/preventive actions.
∎ Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure raw material availability and efficient inventory control.
∎ Manage vendor relationships for machinery, raw materials, and consumables.
∎ Lead and develop a high-performing operations team including line supervisors, engineers, technicians, and support staff.
∎ Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
∎ Ensure full compliance with local laws and international standards for health, safety, and environmental regulations.
∎ Promote a zero-incident safety culture across the plant.
∎ Participate in strategic planning and budgeting for operations.
∎ Contribute to CAPEX and OPEX decisions related to plant expansion, technology upgrades, and automation initiatives.
∎ The Head of Operations – Factory will oversee end-to-end factory operations for the production of optical fiber cables. The role involves managing manufacturing, maintenance, quality control, supply chain, and workforce management to ensure optimum productivity, cost-efficiency, and compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
