Experience:
In Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
Professional qualifications such as CA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent will be considered an added advantage.
At least 5 years in a senior leadership role in Operations.
Proven experience in leading banking operations in a scheduled commercial bank.
Strong understanding of core banking operations, Bangladesh Bank regulations, operational risk, internal control, and digital banking operations.
Strategic leadership and decision-making ability.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Sound knowledge of banking laws, regulations, and operational risk management.
Expertise in process improvement, operational efficiency, and digital transformation.
Excellent stakeholder management and people leadership skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment.
Lead and oversee all banking operations across the Bank, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
Formulate and implement operational strategies, policies, procedures, and internal controls aligned with the Bank's strategic objectives.
Supervise centralized operations, branch operations, payment systems, clearing, remittance, trade operations support, cash operations, customer service operations, and back-office functions.
Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, AML/CFT requirements, internal policies, and applicable laws.
Drive automation, digital transformation, process reengineering, and operational excellence initiatives.
Strengthen operational risk management and business continuity frameworks.
Coordinate with Business, ICT, Risk Management, Compliance, Internal Control & Compliance, Finance, Treasury, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless banking operations.
Monitor operational performance through KPIs and MIS and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Operations team to build a high-performance culture.
Ensure timely resolution of operational issues, customer complaints, audit observations, and regulatory findings.
Perform any other responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
