Responsibilities & Context:
  • Relationship Management: Establish and actively maintain strong relationships with CMSME customers within the branch’s territory, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client retention.

  • Asset & Deposit Mobilization: Meet and exceed business targets set for the CMSME portfolio (both loans and deposits) at the branch level.

  • Business Development & Credit Appraisal: Identify and acquire new CMSME clients, conduct initial credit appraisals, prepare complete credit proposals, and process related documentation for approval.

  • On-Site Verification: Conduct thorough on-site visits to client businesses/factories to validate applicant financials, assess collateral, and perform rigorous due diligence.

  • Portfolio Monitoring: Closely monitor the credit quality of the branch's SME portfolio, identify early warning signals of potential default, and drive timely recovery efforts.

  • Branch Collaboration: Assist the Branch Manager with localized budget preparation, resource planning, and branch-specific business strategies.

  • Internal Liaison & Compliance: Maintain close communication with head office departments (e.g., Credit Risk Management, Operations) and support the branch in compiling necessary regulatory data and compliance reports.
