Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters degree in any discipline, Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
∎ MBA in Apparel Merchandising will be given preference

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 12 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Buying House, Garments, Textiles

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for total Merchandizing Department.
∎ Capable of planning of Knit & woven based garments.
∎ Skill in costing, production planning, and having technical knowledge. Able to line booking for round the year at any situation & run the factory independently.
∎ To meet the objectives and targets of the Merchandising department.
∎ Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
∎ Team Player/Leader of a Merchandising Team.
∎ Oversee and do costing and pricing of the garment and negotiations with the buyers to reach the final acceptable prices.
∎ Monitoring the status of approval / per-production / photo samples/delivery.
∎ Must have the ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology.
∎ Proper execution of orders according to planned Time and Action Plan on regular basis to ensure on time shipment with right quality and quantity.
∎ To Follow up with planning/production.
∎ Should be capable of new business development & promotion with new Buyer
∎ Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to management on ongoing activities and issues.
∎ Any other job assigned by the management

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ 10 years plus experience in knitting garments merchandising. At least 03 years of practical experience in Woven based factory.
∎ Must have in depth knowledge in yarn quality, yarn price, knitting, dyeing, finishing and total fabrication cost.
∎ Understand knit garments production lead time from yarn making to garment packing.
∎ Must be able to do costing of all kinds of knit garments. Able to do consumption & costing independently & on the spot.
∎ Must have knowledge & experience in different kind of printing.
∎ Must have good knowledge in knitting garments
∎ Must have knowledge in logistic & commercial team and processes.
∎ Should be a team builder
∎ Should be able to work under extensive pressure & solve problem creatively.
∎ Should be fluent in English correspondences both in written & oral forms and well conversant with computer applications
