Position Overview
We are seeking a high-caliber, forward-thinking Head of Merchandising to lead and elevate our group’s apparel merchandising division. This role demands a modern leader with a global mindset, exceptional strategic vision, and a proven track record within manufacturing operations. You will serve as the primary bridge between international buyers and factory operations, driving revenue growth, optimizing supply chain agility, and building long-term strategic retail partnerships across key global markets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business & Portfolio Growth: Lead product presentation, customer portfolio expansion, and sales revenue growth for all garment manufacturing units across the group.
Global Buyer Relations & Expansion: Actively engage with major international brands, retailers, and global sourcing leaders. Travel abroad frequently to secure business, negotiate terms, and present seasonal collections.
Modern Merchandising Operations: Modernize end-to-end merchandising workflows, integrating digital sampling, 3D product development, fast-track costing models, and data-driven lead-time management.
Cross-Functional Synergy: Work seamlessly with R&D, Design, Sourcing, IE, and Production teams to ensure accurate execution, order-to-shipment tracking, high-quality output, and target profitability.
Market Intelligence & Product Strategy: Anticipate global market trends, raw material shifts, and sustainability requirements to position the group as an innovative partner for global buyers.
Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing merchandising department, cultivating a proactive, solutions-oriented work culture focused on speed, accuracy, and ownership.
