Educational Requirements:
∎ BSc in Computer Science related discipline from leading university. Advanced degree in Computer Science or MBA/MBM preferred.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 10 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Planning, analyzing and managing all IT requirements, budgeting, product and service selection, resource and manpower utilization, etc.
∎ Solution design for business support regarding the existing systems.
∎ Implement the solution and establishing related control through the project/operation team.
∎ Implementation and integration of a database server system including backup and recovery system.
∎ Overall administrative responsibility on issues regarding Server, DR sites, interconnecting devices and interfacing with the telecom switches.
∎ New services and product design/implement using existing applications in association with stakeholders.
∎ Find out scopes and area of effective/efficient use for applications and systems in association with stakeholders
∎ Plans and oversees the information technology development and maintenance operation of the company and ensure that overall performance of the department meets the Bank's strategic requirement
∎ Acts as single point for service delivery from IT to Business Units for all existing application and systems
∎ Ensure that ITD infrastructure is smoothly running and adequate IT support is provided to all department
∎ Support top management in formulating and implementing the policies regarding billing system, IT solutions and services
∎ Select and implement cost-effective, relevant and latest IT products, solutions and services; correspond and negotiate with local & International IT vendors and service providers as per the organizational requirement
∎ Coordinate and implement software security systems in the form of Anti Virus solutions, Electronic Access Control System, Intelligent Electronic Fire Detection System, Electronic Queue Management System and auxiliary support systems like PABX and CCTV etc
∎ Needs to have knowledge about Temenos.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 10 years of working experience as Head of IT in a Bank/NBFI. Should have good experience in IT operations, designing and implementation of architectures in a Banking business.
∎ The job requires excellent track records for managing IT services including project management; strong knowledge on information, computer and network resources; process of corporate security in a banking environment; planning, development and implementation of projects. Should have very good communication skills in both written and spoken English.
∎ Should have good interpersonal skills and ability to operate within a team environment and exercise independent judgment. Should be self-motivated, result oriented and able to work under pressure. Should be able to present and discuss technical info to all levels of management and staff.
