Education:

    • Bachelor of Law (LLB)
    • Master of Law (LLM)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognized university is required; Master’s in Law (LL.M) is preferred.

  • Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply; up to 2 years of experience in legal, compliance, or capital market-related roles will be advantageous.

  • Candidates with partial CS (Chartered Secretary) or legal certification will get preference.

  • Strong command over Bangla and English (both written and verbal).

  • Ability to draft meeting minutes, board resolutions, and legal documents with precision.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with a strong sense of confidentiality and integrity.

  • Familiarity with Bangladesh capital market laws, regulatory reporting, and corporate governance will be considered an asset.



Responsibilities & Context:

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing and circulating notices, board memos, and minutes for Board of Directors` meetings, AGMs, EGMs, and various internal committee meetings.

  • Coordinate regulatory filings and correspondences with BSEC, DSE, CSE, RJSC, NBR, and other statutory bodies.

  • Support the drafting, reviewing, and record-keeping of agreements including lease, back-office, commission sharing, IT support, etc.

  • Help in processing and updating Authorized Representative (AR) records, DP renewals, and CAMLCO/BFIU reporting.

  • Assist in handling Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), and Risk-Based Capital Adequacy (RBCA) compliance matters.

  • Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and trustees for PF & Gratuity Fund audit, annual audit, and returns.

  • Draft office notes, legal letters, and manage compliance for entity changes, director appointments, and registered office alterations at RJSC.

  • Maintain compliance records, submit regulatory reports, and ensure timely renewals of trade licenses, AR certificates, insurance policies, and TREC-related documentation.

  • Support company secretary functions and coordinate internal/external communication efficiently.
