LL.M. (Master`s in Law) degree from a recognized university
Minimum 4-5 years of relevant experience in a law chamber and/or as an in-house legal professional
Preference for experience in labor law, HR, or employment-related matters
Working knowledge of Bangladesh labor and employment laws

Strong drafting, documentation, coordination, and communication skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist supervisor by providing legal inputs on HR-related matters, including employment terms, disciplinary actions, and grievance management
Support handling of employee grievances, disputes, and show-cause or disciplinary matters from a legal compliance perspective, in coordination with HR
Review, vet, and assist in drafting Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), agreements, and contracts related to academic collaborations, research, training, consultancy, and HR-related services
Assist in ensuring HR-related compliance with applicable labor laws, rules, and regulations, including the Labor Act and relevant employment-related provisions
▸ Assist in reviewing, updating, and implementing HR policies, manuals, and guidelines to ensure legal compliance
Coordinate with external legal counsel on HR-related cases and disputes under the guidance of the supervisor
Assist in planning and conducting legal awareness and basic legal training sessions for HR staff, faculty, and employees on HR-related laws, institutional policies, grievance procedures, and workplace compliance
Support development of simple legal guidance materials, SOPs, or FAQs for HR and employees to promote legal awareness and risk prevention
